Weddings are the most beautiful, sweetest and touching thing!!!

Alright... I never like weddings in the past. Most of the time, I'm there waiting for food to be served or doing sound for a boring program... But...

Yes.. But!

A recent wedding that I did managed to touch me alot.

The bride was the younger sister of the lead singer or Wack Daddy Down, a nice happening rock n roll band. As usual when u have a rock band involved, things always become more happening like the EIC's weddings =)

Many things happened that touched me and set me wondering and planning for my own wedding.

1) The band played live for almost every event! March-in, toasting, cake cutting etc. All the music is live! So if it's my wedding, you all better play live for me hor! But then the only problem will be who's going to play the bass?

2) There's a best friend sharing session, which is damn touching and set me thinking, when I get married, who am i going invite to give a testimony for poor ah fu?
Will it be Gerard, my terrible twin?
Will it be Anthony, who known me for years and is closed to having a joint account with me b4 his gf?
Will it be Paik, who become my New Best Friend coz of a game?
Or will it be Darnie, who's my transport officer and fellow foodie?

I do not know... I don't even know if they will be willing to give me a testimony at my happiness day of my love. I do hope so

3) The bride and groom actually prepared surprise performances for each other, which is damn touching and sweet. I almost teared when the groom sang Grow Old with you. This is something that I would want to sing for her during my wedding dinner. But can the audience take my voice? I guess not

4) Lastly, the greatest problem that I will have for my wedding is that I'm still single! How to get married? Sigh Sigh... I don't wanna go Match-making, SDU or worst, china or vietnamese bribe k! So those eligible gals, please sign up with 1800-loveFuz ok? Membership is FREE =)

Recipe for Kebabs

K I know some of you may want this.

Ingredents:

1kg of Chicken Fillet (If possible use chicken tight meat)
1 Bottle of Kikoman sauce
1 Small bottle of Oyster sauce
1 clove of garlic
1 colve of onion
1 can of soda drink (Coke, Pepsi, Rootbeer, even Orange also can)
Sugar or Honey
Flour

Vege to be shewered on the kebabs
Red and Yellow Capsicum
Cherry Tomatoes
Button Mushrooms
Leeks


Steps:

1) Wash the chicken meat and cut them into kebab sizes
2) Marinate the chicken meat with 1/4 bottle of Kikoman, 1/2 can of soda water, 2 spoonful of sugar or honey and 1 spoonful of flour
3) Let the marinate seat in the fridge for 3 hrs or if possible overnight
4) Wash and cut the vege to kebab size.
5) Take out the meat and vege and start to kebab them. Be organized abt it. Buy a big alum tray to store the kebabs.
6) Pour the left over marinate into a bowl and pour the remaining kikoman, coke, and add some diced onion and garlic inside, this will serve as a basting sauce.
7) When grilling the kebab, soak in or brush it often with the sauce to make it moist, tender and juicy!

There you go, the secret to GOOD KEBABS!!!

How do you know if you are sweet...

K many people had said that I'm a sweet guy.

My "Brother", My Xiao Mei, My Nu-er and even my Boss, Luther all thinks that I'm a sweet guy.

But the best part of all, is that the mozzies also think that I'm sweet!

Now I'm suffering from Mozzies bites all around my body! Even after I spray baygon, they still return for the sweet taste of Ah Fu!!!

Sigh... why why why must I be so sweet?

A Successful Amazing Ah Fu BBQ

Yes, I done it again! Another amazing Ah Fu BBQ!

Kudos to Gerard, Antz, Paik, Leonard for being great chefs and helpers!

Basically, this bbq is organized for Emix and Carderas for their rummange production.

Although not everyone came, I hope that those who actually make it enjoy it as much as I did preparing for it.

This time round, I had upgraded my recipe for kebabs and chicken wings, even using guiness stout as a marinate and coke too =)

Fireworks!

Finally, I manage to catch a day of the Fireworks Festival at Esplanade Bay.

It's FANTASTIC!

The fireworks exploding in sync with the music, creating a tapestry of artwork on the night sky.

It's truely a breath taking wonder.

However, the only thing lacking is for the company of a nice lady so that I can hold her hand when I watch the fireworks with her.

That will be one perfect evening!

K! I'm sick... yet again

Or actually I was never well...

I'm shivering in cold every night with my nose running like a tap.

Recently, my stomach is getting bad too...Stomachache all the way

That's a damn bad sign.

Worst of all, my Presonus Inspire 1394 sux.... It's crackling and clicking... I need to solve this problem asap!

But then of coz, there are good things that happen this week

1) The Emix Boys, Almond and Syd visited us at Gas Haus when we are short of Roy and Shihui... and they still say we are alright. That's very kind and supportive of them!

2) I found a place for good ROAST MEAT! Located near prinstep street and Rochor Beancurd, this place is damn great and affordable! Definately a place I will bring friends to go to!

3) The See-Saw sisters seem to be out of their square room. Maybe now their theme song should be "I should be so lucky" so that they can be heng heng in life and love. Jia u and be positive!

4) I realise that in life, there's no point lamenting that happiness doesn't come. Just be happy for things that I have can liaoz. Like finding good places to eat, finding new and true friends, having good frds that look out for you, making customer smile coz you make their day bright and shiny. It's never about yourself. It's about how many people you touch and make happy. That's true happiness

So anybody want to make me happy?
