Life goes on...
Today was quite interesting for me in two ways, both good and bad.
Good way:
Antz is away in the land of the rising sun for a week of holiday, leaving the band without his power-packed licks. Of coz we will panic as he's the organizer and anchor.
Therefore, Roy has to organized the jam session, I will have to do the bookings. Nike do the scores etc. Soon we became quite organized, which is good as we always depended on Antz.
The crunch time came today when we performed. The sound was ........ as usual. No proper miking, lousy and bochap sound guy, the amps were not miked.
But we sounded good as less is more =)
Less stage sound means better sound for audience. In the past, the stage sound killed all of us, making us unable to focus. The slapback echo was super distracting. Today, when we had less sound, it became better as we can feel it more.
So next week, when Ant is back, I will redo this kind of feel and make us sound good.
During our performance, it was quite interesting to see the pub divided into 3 areas. The japanese side, the Ausssies side and the neutral (performers and Staff)
The situation was damn tense especially when Japan scored the first goal but wellz, that's the WORLD CUP for u, it makes life more interesting, especially when one nice chio bu in office wear is there as the audience =)
The bad thing that happen is of coz the pending closure and revamping of my SC. We are not even closed yet and people are treating we are dead and gone.
That's life for you. You give 101% for them in the past, doing beyond wat's objectively and reasonable and logically and when they close you down, they expect you to be calm and patience and objective...
That's double standards...Fucking double standards...and that's life
Life when you had being taken for granted...When you being nice is --> cheap
So I have being a cheap and loose person, granting favours to all when in the end, being a bastard rules...
So fuck it all, I will never support them again...Let them solve their own problems, they don't need us anyway. Since you don't want us to support u anymore, then why should we be stupid and cheapen ourselves to beg you to allow us to help you.
Nobody appreciates help when it's so ready and free...
Hope that all your events die! Crash and Burn! Coz we will not be helping you all anymore =) We have to pursue our own growth path wor =) No time to service ppl
